My name is Rylee and I have been babysitting all ages of children since I was about 12 years old. I am majoring in architecture at Iowa State. I love children and babies because they have the most unique perspectives on life. I like fostering a safe place for kids to develop and learn. I have babysat babies from newborn to toddler age, for full day and night periods. I regularly watch two children at once (a toddler and seven year old) and have experience watching up to six elementary-aged kids at once. I was trained and certified in first aid and CPR, but I did not renew the certification. I am good at learning schedules and can adapt to any style of the care the parents wish. I think babysitting is one of the most rewarding jobs because even when the kids are having a bad day, you get to be a support for them. I think it is important to teach children emotional intelligence and help them navigate big feelings. In my experience, babysitting is not always easy, but always gratifying.
