I have extensive experience as a caregiver for children, animals, and the elderly. In my current role as a paraprofessional, I specialize in working with children with disabilities, specifically those with Autism and ADHD. I am First Aid/CPR certified and maintain all relevant ADA/ AEA certifications. A background check was recently completed, and while I passed, I believe the current badge misrepresents my report. I am concerned that motor vehicle violations from 2021 are negatively impacting the badge status, despite not reflecting my professional caregiving capabilities. I love books, crafts, playgrounds, music, imaginary play, dress up, and tactile exploration. I think some outside time every day is beneficial; it does require the right attire. I think discipline is important and necessary as long as the repair piece isn’t skipped. I believe it takes a village to raise great men and women. I run a tidy ship with a detailed schedule and basic routine. I like a plan; this plan can change, but I do better with a general idea of what to expect. In my experience, children do not care if I have a plan, so being ready to pivot is necessary and can make things fun. I have lapsed CPR and First Aid certification (expired last year) and would gladly get it updated if required.

I have been babysitting for 7 years and have been a nanny for about a year. I have worked in the nursery at my church for over 3 years. I was a traveling nanny for almost a year.
