I have been watching children in some fashion since I was 11 years old (26 years). I have been a nanny for a family in the past and it was a great experience. I have watched children from infancy into their teens and have no issues with watching multiple children at the same time. I am very organized and like to keep children occupied with activities with minimal screen time. I have two nieces and a nephew (all siblings) that I have watch since birth and still watch frequently. Their ages vary from 10 months to 7 years old. When I am watching them, I have one child home all day, one child home half days, and the eldest has school all day. This requires being able to keep the day organized and a good routine going.

I’m 22 years old and have been working in childcare since I was 16. Before that, I used to babysit my siblings and the younger children of some close family friends. I’ve worked with children of all ages, but I’m currently a lead teacher for the 2-year-old room at my center. I’m CPR and first aid certified, have completed the mandatory reporter training, and universal precautions training. I can assist with potty training, diaper changes, sleep strategies, and meal preparation. I enjoy planning and preparing age-appropriate crafts and activities to keep the children engaged when the weather permits us from going outside and burn off energy. From a young age, I’ve always wanted to work with young children and contribute to their learning and development.

Even though I am the youngest in my family, I have spent many years helping with my niece. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I work with 3-6 and 7-12 year olds mostly. I grew up helping at camp with at risk kids, I am a success coach with those kids as well. As a success coach I work with kids who aren’t having the best of times. I help them understand why they are upset and how we can work through this to have a better days. I am verified in mental health awareness for children. Running around and having a huge amount of energy is what I expect and love to have fun!

I am an energetic person who loves to take care of kids. While I do not have any professional experience with babysitting I am often around my younger cousins and friends younger siblings. I am a Drake Law School student with a passion for childcare. I have been caring for children for as long as I can remember. I grew up on a street where I was the oldest kid, so I was the neighborhood babysitter.
