I've babysat for multiple friends, family and people in the neighborhood over the duration of 7years. 1 of which was a live in job for 3 years where we both worked opposite shifts, taking care of her son from the time he was a newborn until age 3. I love children, and am capable of taking care of any at any age. I'm a very calm and mellow person and children don't frustrate me, especially if they cry a lot. I enjoy helping with school work, playing games, keeping them entertained, helping with laundry, doing dishes, making food if necessary, etc. & will follow the parents instructions to a T. I do have a car, so I can pick up and drop off at school & run errands if need be. I'm not cpr certified yet, but I have done cpr multiple times before throughout my life without any issues. as well as the hiemlich. I have been providing care for children throughout the years. over the past few years, I was a nanny, I also helped my mom when she had her in home child care business. I have also worked at a children's center in many of the different child care rooms. I am CPR and first aid trained as well as having my CNA. I have been apart of different programs where we get paired with and do different activities each day, I have worked for AmeriCorps in a preschool classroom that I teach different skills to kids ages from 3-6 as well as working on reading/math concepts. As a young child my mom did income daycare, so I grew up helping out with it. As well as helping raise my younger sister, after my mom passed away. I've continued to babysit when need be for neighbors, friends, family, and other children. I have been babysitting for at least 10 years, and have nannied for 3. lI've watched children of all ages, and feel extremely comfortable with them all. I've recently been watching a 3 year old and an infant, or an 8 and 10 year old. I've done many things with the children, making any meals, taking them to the pool, walks, the park, naps and bedtimes. I'm very artsy and enjoy doing crafts. I also love the outdoors, and would rather be outside then inside. I have no issues with any pets. I'm CPR certified, and can handle any situation comfortably.
