It's rewarding to watch kids learn, grow, and have fun in a safe and nurturing environment. I enjoy the creativity involved in planning activities, whether it’s playing games, reading stories, or helping with homework. There's something special about building trust with both the kids and parents, knowing I can make their day a little easier and more enjoyable. I have 4 years of babysitting experience working with children of various ages, from infants to school-age kids. I have been watching children in some fashion since I was 11 years old (26 years). I have been a nanny for a family in the past and it was a great experience. I have watched children from infancy into their teens and have no issues with watching multiple children at the same time. I am very organized and like to keep children occupied with activities with minimal screen time. I have two nieces and a nephew (all siblings) that I have watch since birth and still watch frequently. Their ages vary from 10 months to 7 years old. When I am watching them, I have one child home all day, one child home half days, and the eldest has school all day. This requires being able to keep the day organized and a good routine going.

I have babysat for family members, as well as family friends. I want to babysit because I love working with kids, and with it being summer I am looking for a job where I can be outside. I have worked at an after school daycare, and I spent my senior year of high school in an elementary classroom because I love kids and would like to teach. Hi! I’m a sophomore in college at DMACC. I live in Ankeny and have been around kids my entire life. I can take/pick kids up to school, help with laundry/dishes/cleaning around the house, and preparing meals.

As a young child my mom did income daycare, so I grew up helping out with it. As well as helping raise my younger sister, after my mom passed away. I've continued to babysit when need be for neighbors, friends, family, and other children. I have been babysitting for at least 10 years, and have nannied for 3. lI've watched children of all ages, and feel extremely comfortable with them all. I've recently been watching a 3 year old and an infant, or an 8 and 10 year old. I've done many things with the children, making any meals, taking them to the pool, walks, the park, naps and bedtimes. I'm very artsy and enjoy doing crafts. I also love the outdoors, and would rather be outside then inside. I have no issues with any pets. I'm CPR certified, and can handle any situation comfortably. I do have my own car and am willing to take car of any drop offs or pick ups as needed. I am opened to anything! I also have a 6 month old that I would like to be able to tag along with me.
