I am a paraprofessional at a school working with preschool children with special needs. I have been working with kids since my little sister was born. I love working with kids and helping them learn and grow. I was 8 when my sister was born and when my dad was away at work I helped my mom watch her. When my mom started a daycare, I would always go over after school and help. My first job was working with kids at a summer camp. Every job since has been with kids. I have a great joy working with kids. I love helping them express who they are and doing things they like. I can also be stern with kids, in an appropriate way, when necessary. I have experience with every kind of kid, from nonverbal to fully verbal. I know how to work with the most chaotic kids and some of the easiest.

My family has been fostering children since I was in 4th grade, and we've always had small children in the house that I've helped to raise/take care of. Taking after my mom, I LOVE children and have strong maternal instincts! Besides constantly helping out with kids around the house, I also have babysat for several different children in the past, as well as volunteering for Eco Camp two summers ago, where I was in charge of a medium sized group of children aged 5-12. Besides being able to help out a family in need, I'm hoping to earn some money to help out at college during the semester, as well as get quality time with little kids.
