I am a full-time nanny in the city of Naperville, IL. I care for two pre-school & elementary school aged girls as a live-out nanny and am looking for an addl part-time position. I organize play by setting up play-dates, taking the girls to the park, and making sure they have plenty of opportunities to enjoy fun crafts at home. I prepare healthy meals, load dishes for clean-up afterward, and make sure the girls are clean, happy, healthy, and safe. They enjoy me and we always find ways to have fun. Their toys are always picked up and laundry done by the end of the day. They have been schooled in good manners, and poor behavior is addressed, and if need be, time-outs are given for discipline. As the kids grow and learn occasions for discipline grow more and more infrequent. Learning and being presented with the challenges of trying new things are an on-going experience. Our days are full and fun and pass quickly the girls are well-rested and pleasant and enjoy our group endeavors but are also given much-needed individual attention.

Hi! I'm currently working at a daycare where I've gained 5 years experience along with additional babysitting experience. I primarily work with 5 to 11 year olds, but I also work with 6 week to 4 year olds during the school day. Because of this I am first aid certified along with being CPR certified for Infants, Children, and Adults. I'm a current student at Northern Illinois University in the Education department. My major is in Middle Level Math education (to be a middle school math teacher), but I've also taken professional development courses in early life and elementary education. I was also chosen for NIU's 2024 Educate Global trip where I had the chance to teach for a month in Indonesia, so I have plenty of interesting stories to tell!

My long term goal is to be a preschool teacher, therefore in high school I had the opportunity to observe and participate in a preschool program at South East elementary school.
