Hi families, I was born and raised in Peoria. I have over 20 years of childcare experience, and I have been a full time nanny and household manager for the last 15+ years. I have worked all over the country for several families - caring for children ages ranging from newborn up to 13 years. Now that I have a daughter of my own, my husband and I have relocated to raise her where we grew up. Since she was born, I have taken her to my nanny jobs with me. All of them have been great fit for both families and socially & developmentally beneficial for the kids. L is 4, and I would love to find another family with a child around the same age. However, I am open to all ages. When she isn’t in preschool part-time, we love going on adventures. We have memberships to the zoo, playhouse, Wildlife Prairie Park, and country club. We love going to tumbling open gym, story time, and parks. We go for nature walks and play outside as much as we can when the weather allows for it. Being raised in my mother's home daycare, my love for children started young. As I got older, my ability to help her increased. During high school, I took up Child Development classes as well as First Aid and Safety, Culinary, and CNA. From January to July, I was an Assistant Teacher at Little Wings Childcare and Learning Center. I worked in the 2 year old room. Although I testified to the "Terrible-Two's" phase, it didn't overcome me. Growing up with an autistic brother has helped me develop patience and understanding towards those with different abilities. I've always been known for how attentive I am towards children from family, friends, and coworkers. I hope to continue to use my abilities to help others.

I worked at a daycare from ages 14-21 and as a babysitter when needed. I filled sippy cups, held hands, prepared meals, resolved conflict, listened to, and soothed littles from newborn-12 years old. I love getting to help navigate big emotions, answer silly questions, and guide all ages through forming heathy attachments. I've had a special interest in child psychology and development since I was young and love getting to apply my knowledge in real time. I've been pursuing a career in graphic design, but have really missed being a part of a child’s support system. something in me clicks into place and feels fulfilled when I get to play a role in a child's life. outside of work, I love to laugh and essentially have the personality of an 80-year-old eclectic grandmother.
