Hi, my name is Geordan! I am 22 years old and looking for a new job taking care of children whether it is part-time or full-time. I am currently working for an ABA company as a Registered Behavioral Technician. I have been working with children (Ages 1-8) on the spectrum for about 2 years now and have been loving every second of it. What makes me the happiest is knowing children are well taken care of, and watching them grow and meet goals! Caring for children has been a meaningful part of my life for years! In high school I worked in a gym daycare (2016-2020) as well as took a childcare course and worked in the schools daycare (2018-2019), we would “work” in the daycare 4 days a week rotating from the infant room, toddlers, and preschool. On the 5th day we would plan our lessons for circle time/educational activities for the kids! In 2020-2021 I was a nanny for a family who had a toddler and two preteens! After school started back up in 2021 I went to a daycare and worked in the pre-k room, occasionally being a float to the twos and the infants! I have experience with all ages of children!

Being raised in my mother's home daycare, my love for children started young. As I got older, my ability to help her increased. During high school, I took up Child Development classes as well as First Aid and Safety, Culinary, and CNA. From January to July, I was an Assistant Teacher at Little Wings Childcare and Learning Center. I worked in the 2 year old room. Although I testified to the "Terrible-Two's" phase, it didn't overcome me. Growing up with an autistic brother has helped me develop patience and understanding towards those with different abilities. I've always been known for how attentive I am towards children from family, friends, and coworkers. I hope to continue to use my abilities to help others.
