I love getting to help navigate big emotions, answer silly questions, and guide all ages through forming heathy attachments. I've had a special interest in child psychology and development since I was young and love getting to apply my knowledge in real time. I work better with older children (usually ages 3-5 & older!). I have experience working with special needs children (autistic and ADHD) as well as children with behavioral issues. Hello! I am a 2020 Bradley University graduate with a BS degree in family and consumer sciences. I spent two years as a secondary education major before going to fcs general. I have experience babysitting my two nephews while in college and nannying for a family since May 2022. I have also babysat for a few date nights too. I do have previous experience as a foster care case worker as well. I have a daughter who will be two next month and is learning/growing everyday. She loves crafting activities! And an easy going newborn son! I am looking to nanny one child in my home part time. My home is always clean, baby/toddler proof, and we have lots of toys along with a playroom basement! Being raised in my mother's home daycare, my love for children started young. As I got older, my ability to help her increased. During high school, I took up Child Development classes as well as First Aid and Safety, Culinary, and CNA. From January to July, I was an Assistant Teacher at Little Wings Childcare and Learning Center. I worked in the 2 year old room. Although I testified to the "Terrible-Two's" phase, it didn't overcome me. Growing up with an autistic brother has helped me develop patience and understanding towards those with different abilities. I've always been known for how attentive I am towards children from family, friends, and coworkers. I hope to continue to use my abilities to help others.
