As someone with many siblings I’ve always had a soft spot for caring for children. I took early childhood with hands on classroom experience with the kids and I absolutely adored it. Since I was 13 I’ve been babysitting, I enjoy it and i believe it’s great prep to help me when I become a pediatric nurse! I have a cpr and aed certificate for adults & children I did a nursing course which taught us how to care for children in emergency’s. While I was in school I was taught how to care for children as a babysitter, nanny or working in a daycare. I am a 19 year old college student majoring in early childhood education with a minor in psychology. I currently work at cultivators working with kids ranging from 3 year olds yo 12 year olds. I am certified in CPR and first aid. I have babysat for my boyfriend’s uncle, watching his kids who are 3-6 years old. One of them is autistic and cannot speak. I have my own car to take them to and from places in town. I also babysit for my sister where I watch my 11 month old nephew so I have some experience in feedings and light diaper changes.

I have been growing ups with younger children my whole life! I love younger kids and growing up around little cousins and siblings have made me realize I want a career with them. I am the oldest of 4 kids, my two youngest brothers are twin boys who are 6. We are 12 years apart so I have been watching them since I was in 6th grade. I babysat for families around my neighborhood until I was in about 9th grade. Once I got my license I worked at a daycare in the summers all of high school for kids the age of newborn through 5 years old. The summer before college I nannyed for a family with a 7 year old and 9 year old. I have first aid and CPR training.
