In high school, I completed a two-hour childcare course. After high school I also completed many certificate courses working at the YWCA, and since then, I've gained hands-on experience with a variety of responsibilities including meal preparation, transportation, outdoor play, light housekeeping, diaper changes & homeschooling. Being raised in my mother's home daycare, my love for children started young. As I got older, my ability to help her increased. During high school, I took up Child Development classes as well as First Aid and Safety, Culinary, and CNA. From January to July, I was an Assistant Teacher at Little Wings Childcare and Learning Center. I worked in the 2 year old room. Although I testified to the "Terrible-Two's" phase, it didn't overcome me. Growing up with an autistic brother has helped me develop patience and understanding towards those with different abilities.
