As the second oldest of four, even before I was able to take paid jobs, taking care of people (particularly childcare) has always been a key part of who I am. I have extensive experience, ranging from infants to a highschool student with Down Syndrome, including a summer spent as a nearly full-time nanny to a family with three children. I'm extremely comfortable working with food, gardens, and all things creative. As a multi-instrumentalist and a dancer, I offer a multitude of fun activities and ideas for entertainment and learning. Being raised in my mother's home daycare, my love for children started young. As I got older, my ability to help her increased. During high school, I took up Child Development classes as well as First Aid and Safety, Culinary, and CNA. From January to July, I was an Assistant Teacher at Little Wings Childcare and Learning Center. I worked in the 2 year old room. Although I testified to the "Terrible-Two's" phase, it didn't overcome me. Growing up with an autistic brother has helped me develop patience and understanding towards those with different abilities.
