Innate love, compassion and patience in caregiving has taught me to teach & guide children in a gentle way. I was an attachment parent (baby wearing, bonded, close contact) with all four of my own children. I allow the child take the lead for creativity and exploration of their environment, with appropriate boundaries for safety and rules of the home. Respect, communication and understanding are very important to me in caregiver- parent dynamic, as well as with the children. I am available as an interim caregiver from 6/15/25 through 7/5/25. I am available full time including weekends . After 7/5/25, I am available Monday, Friday and weekends, hours as needed. I want your children to be as comfortable as possible with me while you are gone. I prefer to meet in person once before beginning babysitting. In my experience, I have worked in three day care facilities, mainly infant and toddler rooms, from 1998 until 2003 and again short term in 2017. I also did some short-term nannying for three families during my college years. After college, I taught a 4-year-old preschool class at Kindercare Learning Center, from 2003 to 2005. When my son was born, in May of 2005, I started to nanny full time. Since then, I have worked as a nanny, as a home daycare provider and babysitting, for 19 different families to present day.

Hi I'm Ryan, I've worked in daycare centers and summer camps. I graduated from South Suburban College. I've been in child care for about 12 years now, I've had 2 nanny jobs and several babysitter jobs. I started babysitting a lot at 20 because I got step family that gave me 8 little siblings and I had to babysit some of their friends mostly during the summers. Some additional information on how I care for babies, toddlers, and children: I am great with finding creative activities to do indoors on rainy days but LOVE outdoor activities for when it is nice outside! We live walking distance from a park and have a secure wagon with seatbelts. I am truly fascinated in the development of children both cognitively and emotionally. I enjoy interacting with them as they learn and experience new things! I can also prepare nutritious meals and snacks in our smoke-free, pet-free home.

I can guarantee your peace of mind, my main goal is to begin with making sure you know see and feel your children will be in the right care. I adapt to current schedules/routines and also can help incorporate one. I love arts & crafts so any chance I get I like to include it.
