Hello.  I have been in the childcare field for over 28 years specializing in providing the best care for your child/children while parents are working and/or attending school.  I provide "hands-on" and nuture as I feel this is very important.  I have specialized training in the fields of asthma, special needs, child abuse, sexual abuse, cpr/first aid certification as well as Child Development.  I work with children who have speech impairments, learning disabilities as well as teaching pre-school for chidren getting ready for kindergarden. Hello! I am a 29-year-old educator with over 15 years of experience in childcare. I am returning to the U.S. after spending time traveling the world and working as an English teacher abroad. I currently work as an online English teacher, but primarily late in the evenings and on a flexible schedule. I have a Master's degree in Linguistics from Northeastern Illinois University and a Bachelor's degree in French Teacher Education from Illinois State University. I have experience as a full-time nanny for several children at a time, a middle school teacher, preschool teacher, Sunday school teacher, academic tutor, camp counselor for children with cerebral palsy, and one-on-one caretaker for children with Downs syndrome. My schedule for school is Mondays and Wednesdays I have a class that goes from 1pm to 2:20pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays I have a class that goes from 10am to 11:15 am. My current job is ARC at the Lake Bluff Park District where I work with elementary school kids from 2:20-6:00pm, currently I am only working on Tuesdays. I work very hard at my job by cleaning up dishes, putting away utensils, cleaning countertops, cleaning tables in the Community Room, engaging with the kids till I leave to go home, solving problems or conflicts, and talking or updating parents on their child(s). I am a very kind and helpful person. I can make many people laugh. I work hard at my job. I put in effort. I also provide really good teamwork as well. I also work at my church nursery on sundays from 9:45 am to 11 am. I provide diaper changes, clean water, blocks, trains, books, and other activities. I care for infants as well. Fridays I am available after 8:30am and not available before 3:30 pm. Saturdays I am available after 11:30am. This summer, I will be working at the Lake Bluff Park District as a Summer Day Camp Counselor. my schedule will be M-F from 7:45am to 3pm.
