Hi! I graduated from Drake University with a BS in psychology and I also have an associates degree in criminal justice. I currently live in Vernon Hills with my 3 year old daughter and our two dogs. I LOVE to cook healthy and colorful meals. I am CPR and CPI certified, and have experience with autism and special needs. I work for TrueNorth full time during the school year as an RBT, and also work part time as a program assistant for NSSRA and an autism services clinic as an RBT. I am currently looking for summer or weekend work, but have some flexibility to fill in for last minute needs during the week. I have over 20 years experience in childcare, 13 of which I worked as a nanny. I have a long history with multiple families in the area as a nanny, working overnights, filling in when caregivers are on vacation, and working weekends, and can provide multiple references. I became a caregiver because I had experience babysitting my 4 younger siblings growing up but also because once my siblings got older my love for kids remained. Family is important to me, and I enjoy supporting families with their unique needs and goals.
