Hello, I’m Linda and I'm 50 years old & a cancer survivor. I have worked as a nanny for over 25 years also including babysitting from my teens and on. I enjoy crafts, rolling around in the grass, looking for bugs, chalking on the sidewalks along w/ trips to parks, museums, swim & music classes, and Library trips for story time. I have also been in the financial industry for twenty nine years but have never lost the love of caring for children. At this time in my life my husband has convinced me to follow what I love. This would be working with children full time. I serve at my church in the infant & two year old room as a lead teacher. I also have worked at Kinder-care & Just Plane Kids. Since I was young I gravitated towards children and my love to be around them as well as caring for them has never changed. I've worked in the financial Industry for 29 years and helped clients with opening accounts to planning their retirement plans. I've opened up 529 Plans for their children and seen them grow up to use these accounts. So in my years of helping families I still benefited helping children. When dealing with clients with children and helping them during tantrums or keeping them busy as their parents review documents. Raising my niece along with working at KinderCare and Just plane Kids for a total of five years. In those years I rotated between the infant room and two year old room. I have experience hands on in facilities but over 20 years of raising and loving other families children. I would love to have the opportunity to meet you and speak to you openly about my experiences and how much I would love to help you care for your children. Thank you for your time, Linda M Arnold Velarde

Hi, My name is Kelsey. I am a fun, easy going, reliable individual. My passion for working with children has extended throughout my life starting with babysitting for my family members. My experience began in high school where I taught 4yr old preschool children who attended our high school program. As a result of that, I began to Nanny for a family of one of my students. I have worked a before & after school program for a variety of grammar schools through the park district. I have worked as a preschool teacher at a day care with children ranging from 6 weeks to 12 years old. I am CPR certified.

I have been in the field of Child Care and Early Childhood Education for over 15 years. After graduating from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor's Degree in Child Development, I began my career as an Early Childhood Educator. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with children ranging in age from 3 months to 12 years. Working with children brings me so much joy. I’m passionate about early childhood education and truly believe the early years are the most important for sparking a lifelong love of learning, creativity, exploration, and play. I am also a proud mom of two wonderful children, ages 6 and 3. I’m currently seeking a position with a family who would welcome my 3-year-old to accompany me on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. She is a playful, kind, and sociable little girl who loves being around other children. With my professional experience as an educator and my personal experience as a mother, I offer a nurturing, dependable, and engaging environment for the children in my care. I strive to ensure your child always feels safe, respected, and loved while supporting their growth and development every step of the way. If you feel I could be a good fit for your family, I would love the opportunity to speak with you further.

I love kids, I think this is the best quality in a person that you should look for. Kids are a delight. I have 8 nieces and 3 nephews, this is where my desire to take care of kids came from. They grow up so fast that you can't get enough of their nature. Being here, I am hoping to embrace a family in need and to be able to help raise a child. I am a yogi therefore very calm & patient. I am reliable, organize, passionate, caring, trustworthy and have a lot of love to share. Safety is my priority. Thanks for the time, may this be the beginning of a lifetime friendship. Have a wonderful day.

Hi! My name is Michelle. I come from a very large and involved family and have been caring for both children and seniors for most of my life. I enjoy caring for others and believe in a strong support system at home. I prefer to get out and allow kids to learn and experience life first hand through adventures and activities rather than through a screen all of the time. I am college educated, CPR /First Aid Certified and look forward to getting to know you, your family, and how I can make life simpler for you. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. Thank you for your time and have a great day!!

Michelle was a great help to our family! She was extremely kind and truly loved my kids. She was very good at sending updates during the day especially when she had to pick up/drop off the kids. I knew they were safe in her care :)

I’m Amy and I’ve raised 3 children of my own! I have nannied for 5 different families for the past 11 years. I am CPR certified and I have experience with pets as well! I have my degree from Northern Illinois University with a degree in Elementary Education. I have a current teaching certification. I have a ton of experience with meal prep and laundry as well! I will clean up and run errands or zip the kids around in my car or yours. I am very active and extremely energetic and I bring that energy into the house. Running around and playing with the kids is what I love to do. I don’t sit back and watch. I actually step in and get my hands dirty. That’s the best part! I also have been the house manager for 2 of my families and feel very comfortable in that role. Let me help you to make your life so much easier! I am definitely open for babysitting as well. Nights and weekends are available!

Our family hired Amy to care for our infant from January 2026 through May 2026, when our baby was approximately 4–8 months old. From her very first day, Amy was calm, capable, and attentive, and she quickly became a trusted part of our daily routine. Amy has excellent infant-care skills and strong knowledge of age-appropriate development. She spent time on the floor engaging our baby with purposeful play, consistently encouraging tummy time and early milestones in a way that was both fun and supportive. She read our baby’s cues well, adjusted activities thoughtfully, and always prioritized a soothing, secure environment. She was also wonderful at getting our baby down for naps—patient, gentle, and consistent—helping maintain healthy sleep habits and keeping the day on schedule. As my husband and I both work from home, Amy communicated clearly with us throughout the day about naps, feeds, mood, and developmental progress, and she was always receptive to our preferences and any updates to routines. Amy is punctual, reliable, and professional, and we consistently felt that our child was safe, cared for, and genuinely loved in her hands. In addition to outstanding childcare, Amy showed initiative in helping our household run smoothly. She proactively tidied play areas, kept our home clean, and offered help with housework without needing direction. Amy is warm, responsible, and highly competent, and I recommend her without hesitation to any family seeking a nanny they can fully trust. She would be an excellent caregiver for infants and young children, and any household would be fortunate to have her!

I love being a sitter because I genuinely enjoy spending time with children and being part of their growth. Every day is different—from helping with homework to creating fun activities—and it’s really rewarding to build a bond with a child and be someone they feel safe and comfortable with. I take pride in creating a positive, nurturing environment where they can learn, laugh, and just be themselves. I’ve had several years of experience caring for children of various ages, from infants to pre-teens. I’ve worked with my aunt at her licensed at home daycare, which insisted of daily routines such as educational activities aswell as fun I’ve also helped with light meal prep and homework support. Each experience has taught me something new about patience, communication, and understanding children’s unique needs. I’m great at keeping kids engaged with creative activities, structured routines, and positive discipline when needed. I’m also very dependable, organized, and calm under pressure—which I’ve found is really important when juggling the energy and unpredictability that comes with childcare.
