Hi! I'm currently working at a daycare where I've gained 5 years experience along with additional babysitting experience. I primarily work with 5 to 11 year olds, but I also work with 6 week to 4 year olds during the school day. Because of this I am first aid certified along with being CPR certified for Infants, Children, and Adults. I'm a current student at Northern Illinois University in the Education department. Hello! My name is Jocelyn! I am a 26 year-old DCFS certified childcare teacher with 4 years childcare experience. I am CPR and first aid certified. This May I completed my ME in Elementary Education. I plan to teach in a school or start my own homeschool service when my children are older. I currently work at Prairie Pals Christian Preschool and Childcare full time. My first child is due this August and I would love to continue caring for children outside the daycare environment to allow for more one-on-one attention. I don’t plan on taking an extensive maternity leave- especially since my husband’s job has blessed us with a paternity leave! I am comfortable around all animals as long as they are relatively tame (had one bite experience) and would love to take care of them as well! I wouldn’t mind tasks like meal prepping, laundry, or general housekeeping.
