Hello.  I have been in the childcare field for over 28 years specializing in providing the best care for your child/children while parents are working and/or attending school.  I provide "hands-on" and nuture as I feel this is very important.  I have specialized training in the fields of asthma, special needs, child abuse, sexual abuse, cpr/first aid certification as well as Child Development.  I work with children who have speech impairments, learning disabilities as well as teaching pre-school for chidren getting ready for kindergarden. I provide transportation to schools - District 3 (Beach Park Schools) and District 6 (Zion Schools) if needed.  I provide back-up care, sick care as well as vacation/summer care.  Nothing is more rewarding then having one of your daycare children comeup to you at the end of the day and say "I love you Miss Jan - your the best" with a hug/kiss.  It makes my job so rewarding.  I have had children from newborn to middle school who often bring up things that had happened (potty training, that special birthday party, stickers for good deeds) which often makes me feel that all my work has made this child excel in life and its a wonderful feeling.
