Hi! My name is Sophey! I am currently a junior in college, majoring in Hospitality. I have been around kids my entire life, I have 10 siblings and 4 of them are much younger than me. I enjoy helping children learn and grow! I have my own car, I can cook, change diapers, and much more. I love working with kids, and kids like me. I was a Girl Scout for 12 years and often worked with younger scouts. I worked as a camp counselor and a youth program leader giving me ample experience entertaining, engaging and occupying kids. I was my mothers caretaker due to disability and I have worked as a behavior therapist trained with ABA therapy giving me experience with both physical and mental disabilities, although I do have my own physical limitations and can not lift any more than 60 lbs regularly, so if that is a need I am not a good fit. I am a 20 year old Ball State student! I have worked in daycare and in babysitting for 4-5 years and I’m good with older kids and potty trained toddlers. I am a biology student so I am also good with animals and pets, so I’m happy to care for those as well. I’m also an artist, and I love to show children how creative they can be. I do not drink or smoke, and I am vaccinated. I do not yet have first aid certification but I understand the basics and simple methods and will be getting my certification soon.
