I began babysitting when I was 12 yrs. old and have always enjoyed caring for and teaching children. While growing up, my Mom was a babysitter, so I saw first hand what all the job entailed. I grew up babysitting for family and friends. Some of my other experience includes volunteering in the children's ministry at my church, interning for a year at an elementary school, and interning for a semester at a preschool for children with special needs. I have also been working at a licensed daycare for 2 years now, and I love it! Being at the daycare, I have to get a certain amount of training hours each year, so I have gone through a lot of different trainings-including CPR and First Aid. I am Miss Danielle. The kids describe me as “the cool nanny” I’ve always had a passion for taking care of children or working with them. I have done volunteer work while receiving my certifications in Child Development and started working in a day care immediately after. As I grew more experience I started to feel more confident to become a sitter for families who couldn’t afford overpriced child care service. Last year I took on a very big role in 4 children lives. Hello! I am a mom of three kids. They are 20, 15 and 6. I homeschool my youngest which allows flexibility in our schedule. I bring my daughter with me. I will not be homeschooling her while caring for your children though. Starting in August I will be available Mondays , Tuesdays and Fridays from 7:30am-8:30pm. Wednesdays and Thursdays I’m available from 4:30pm-8:30pm.We live in Winfield/Lakes of the Four Seasons. I don't mind traveling a bit further depending on hours and pay. I can babysit in my home or yours if that’s what you prefer. I always bring our own food and drinks with us and anything else that we need. We spend a lot of time reading, dancing, singing, drawing, painting, cooking, baking, homework, walks, parks, spending time playing outdoors when it’s nice. I’m very comfortable with caring for any age. I am also comfortable with pets. I’m ok with driving the kids for drop off and pick up to school or activities depending on distance. I have my degree in early childhood education. Before becoming a mom I taught preschool and worked in daycare. I also worked in before and after school childcare at an elementary school and summer camps. I have volunteered for years in my own kids' school as well as briefly working there teaching reading.
