I am able to provide care in your home. As a disabled veteran, I have access to Fort Riley. I am a retired federal employee wanting to care for children. I love interacting with children; playing, singing, teaching, and doing arts and crafts. I have worked with children at schools, daycares, Girl scouts and churches. I have been a nanny for multiple families over the past 10 years working full-time for several months at a time. I mostly do occasional care and have been a care provider for several families in the Junction City, Ft Riley, Manhattan and Ogden area for over 10 years.

I am a stay at home mom with a 3 year old and a 2 year old, we have 3 dogs who are great with children and I also babysit another 3 year old at night. Plenty of experience here :)

I love working with kids because it reminds me of how amazing and exciting the world can be. I started working with kids when I was about 13 years old. I started working with kids of special needs about 4 years ago. I have been working with infants for about 4 years as well and since then I have been working with children of all ages. In my spare time, I like to volunteer with the special needs community along with local events. When I'm not volunteering I enjoy reading and studying. One thing you should know about me is I work well with children that have special needs, and work well with larger groups of children. My skills include patience, enthusiasm, compassion and empathy.

I have grown up around kids my whole life. I started babysitting when I was 14 years old, I also do the nursery at my church and I love it. I have a CNA license but I am looking to get out of healthcare for a while. I am CPR certified and first aid training as well. I enjoying doing various activities and doing all sorts of crafts. I have always loved working with children which is why I am currently earning my elementary education degree. I have worked at a daycare primarily in the infant and toddler rooms. Currently, I am a paraprofessional at an elementary school while also working at a daycare with children ranging from infants to second grade. Hi, I’m Makayla! I’m a college student who has been babysitting for over 7 years and have cared for kids of all ages, from infants to school-aged children. Right now, I regularly watch a 10-month-old, so I’m very comfortable with diapers, bottles, nap schedules, and keeping little ones happy and safe. I also love spending time with older kids—whether it’s helping with homework, getting them to and from school, or just making the day fun with games and activities. Families can count on me to be dependable, patient, and positive. I know how important it is to create a safe, caring environment, and I always try to bring a lot of energy and flexibility to the job. My schedule works best in the mornings before 11 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays for school drop-off, or after 1 p.m. on those days for the rest of the day. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays I’m available after 11:45 a.m., and on Wednesdays specifically I can stay until 4:30 p.m.

I enjoy working with children of all ages, providing learning enrichment in the form of games and activities. I have experience with young children, from newborns to 10 year olds. As well as experience helping with virtual schoolwork following the Covid-19 outbreak. I have previous volunteer experience at a tutoring center for elementary school children.
