I have a passion for childcare, and aim to give children a calm and secure environment to grow and develop. My experiences in free and paid childcare have given me confidence in my capability to support parents in their mission to nurture their children. I also have experience with special needs children that has given me the patience and understanding to be able to support children of many different backgrounds through different stages of development. I believe in open and honest communication with parents. I love being able to send small updates on their child’s day, pictures, and videos. I also love catching up once the parents come home, and addressing any concerns that arise. I believe that children need and deserve safe and fun outlets to help them explore. I like to give children the opportunity to explore new experiences through crafts, board games, puzzles, and outdoor games. I enjoy bringing toys and activities of my own with me for the children to play with, it helps me understand what each child is naturally interested in. I currently work part time for the public library system and absolutely adore being able to share my love for literature with children. I encourage child-lead imaginative play and unstructured play, as well as developmentally appropriate learning activities. I enjoy doing crafts, and have taught classes and lead workshops where I instruct people (including young children) on how to do a variety of crafts. I think curious children are amazing. I truly love being able to help children understand new ideas and concepts! One of my favorite things to do with kids is talk about how different things work, how do plants grow, where animals go during winter etc. In my spare time I play guitar and have a love for all things music! I love exploring the outdoors, and think that fresh air is something most of us don't get enough of! I put a lot of emphasis on intentionally and understanding in my childcare. I love being able to support kids in learning how to manage and safely express their big feelings. I view every challenging moment as a learning opportunity and a chance for the children to gain a new skill. I love being able to partner with parents and work together with children. I would love to discuss working with your family! Sincerely, Sage

Hi! I’m Ella and I’ve been caring for kids practically my whole life, literally! As the oldest of eight siblings, I grew up babysitting from a young age, helping with everything from diaper changes to homework to bedtime stories. Over the years, I’ve also babysat for cousins, family friends, and neighbors, so I’m comfortable with kids of all ages and personalities. In high school, I took several babysitting courses through the Kansas Learning Center, where I learned the basics of child development, first aid, and CPR. While I wasn’t officially certified, I’ve been trained in emergency response and know how to stay calm and think quickly in stressful situations. What I love most about working with kids is their honesty, creativity, and the way they see the world. They tell the best stories, ask the most unexpected questions, and bring so much joy into everyday moments. Whether I’m helping with homework, playing games, or getting everyone down for a nap, I’m patient, responsible, and genuinely love being around kids. I always aim to create a safe, fun, and caring environment where your little ones can thrive and where you can feel confident they’re in good hands.

Hello! I’m a current Elementary Education Major at Wichita State University with a passion for helping children succeed. I am looking for full time openings and am available from 3:30 pm until 11:30 pm every day and any time of day Friday- Sunday. I am passionate about kids and have received training in CPR, stop the bleed training, have held a food handler’s license which I am willing to renew for peace of mind, have taken child development classes, and have interned as an educational aide working with first graders and received a level one educational aide certification. I am comfortable administering prescribed medications and helping with more than one child. I am comfortable drivings kids if necessary and will temporarily install car seats if they are provided to ensure child safety. I am comfortable with pets and would be happy to help with tutoring and meal prep. My professional experience is with elementary aged children, but I’m a open for a position caretaking for any age group of infants or children. I’m located in Valley center, looking for jobs in Valley Center, Wichita, or Park City, Kansas.
