In college I spent a lot of my time volunteering at Vanderbilt’s children’s hospital. I spent the last 9 months as a childcare teacher to infants, toddlers, and children up to six years old. I love working with children. Both caring for them and teaching them. Being able to be a positive influence in a child’s life is not only rewarding, but I find it to be an opportunity that one cannot find in many other places.

Hi! I’m a recent graduate from UK and will be starting my masters program at WKU in the fall. I absolutely love kids and cannot wait until I get to have my own! I've been watching children since I turned 15 and have babysat for many coworkers, family friends, and previous teachers. I've been a 4H camp counselor for many years in the past and have had such a blast! As of right now, I only have one class on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 2-4:45, so I should have plenty of free time to help out if needed!

I love children I have three of my own a toddler who is 2 and twins that are six months. I'm a very hands on person so not a lot of screen time . I'm working on getting an infant cpr license as well !

I have volunteered at my high school daycare for about 2 years. I have also taken a class on childhood development and 2 classes on caring for children. I am also certified in basic life support including CPR and how to save choking individuals. I do have a part time job, but I can change the availability surrounding what you need from me. I believe there are outdated ways of discipline. I think positive reinforcement is essential in helping a child gain a strong self-esteem for this harsh world. Constantly barking at a child for every little thing causes a child to lose self-confidence. That said, discipline is of the utmost importance to ensure kids will establish a foundation to respect others. I love to be hands on. I get down and play and try to be a role model of doing the right thing at all times.. I currently work in a classroom setting and the children just flock to me.
