I worked as a childcare teacher for many years before getting my CDA (Childcare Administrative Credential) which allowed me to be a Childcare Director while my children were younger. My hours may or may not work for you but if Monday-Thursday 8:30a-4:30p or 1:30pm-5:30p are the hours I can work with. My name is Kristina Schulz and I'm 44. After I graduated from Caddo Magnet High at 17 I moved with my brother to Tucson AZ where he was stationed. I worked in childcare out there, which is where I discovered I love working with children, until I moved back home to help my Dad. Over those 4 years I worked with children aged from newborn to 4 years and the last 2 years I was a 4 year old teacher. My favorite age group is 6-10 months and how they let me nurture, teach and help them grow developmentally. My favorite part is seeing that AHA moment when what I was teaching connects. I have 4 children of my own. My 3 daughters, with my ex husband, are 23, 21 and 18. I also have a son with my husband who just turned 7. We have a pet beta fish named Mr. Germy II. In my free time I like to read, sing, color, hike, going camping and cross stitch. My favorite thing to do is play the piano. I learned from my Pappaw who was a famous local jazz musician when I was 5 years old.
