My name is Kristina Schulz and I'm 44. After I graduated from Caddo Magnet High at 17 I moved with my brother to Tucson AZ where he was stationed. I worked in childcare out there, which is where I discovered I love working with children, until I moved back home to help my Dad. Over those 4 years I worked with children aged from newborn to 4 years and the last 2 years I was a 4 year old teacher. I learned from my Pappaw who was a famous local jazz musician when I was 5 years old.

He was 23 when I was his full-time caregiver, and our bond was built on trust, patience, and deep understanding. I worked 7 days a week-weekends included-because his needs didn't take breaks, and neither did my commitment.
