I have 7 years of experience babysitting, 3 years of that being paid. I baby sat my sisters, aged 15, 7, and 3, since they were itty and bitty so I can handle small children, toddlers, and angsty preteens. I also baby sat for a family down the street who paid me $10 an hour to baby sit their children 9 and 13. I have certification in first aid and CPR as well as a sure fire way to get your baby to fall asleep (it's just singing while rubbing their nose bridge which is insane to me but it works).

The biggest reason I love child care is my grandma owned a daycare and then became a nanny. She used to babysit 10+ children at a time, and of course I had to be her little helper.
