Hi! My name is Payton and i graduated from Brusly High. I come from a super big family and i’m the second oldest so taking on a nurturer role has always been natural for me. Before working at a daycare i’ve always babysat cousins and family friends, which inspired me to choose my current career choice. Since i’m in school to become a pediatrician , lately i’ve been dedicating my time to a daycare called the Academy of Early Learning in hopes of getting more used to children’s mannerisms and making sure that children start they days off correctly. A child is definitely a product of their environment so making sure that you spark positivity into their daily lives is super important. For this job I was required to renew my CPR certification, and take training courses that stress the importance of how children are and how we can help contain and manage their emotions effectively!

I love being a sitter to be able to connect with children of all ages and getting to learn the special characteristics of each child. I enjoy doing all sorts of activates such as playing games, crafting, dancing and just overall being silly. Working with kids really helps me learn and grow in different aspects of my life by learning patience, paying close attention, and learning how to make the best of of a negative. situation. I have no prior paid experiences with taking care of kids, but I watch my young nephews and nieces from time to time and enjoy getting to spend quality time with them. I am hoping by putting myself out there I can gain more experience in this area.
