That was the best decision I have ever made. “the opportunity of a lifetime” I provided care for identical triplet boys age 6mos until they were pre-school ready this year. I spent a total of 5yrs with this family, 2 full-time working parents. I I view my role as an extension or team mate to parents. I found, daily walks brought opportunities to learn about wild life, the changing seasons, to learning their home address. With my last family, we began letter recognition by writing letters in the sand. I enjoy creating a fun learning atmosphere. Safety is of course ALWAYS paramount. I found, once appropriate, explaining why it’s important to be aware of cars when crossing street, or any other important safety issue, that honesty works.
