Hello! I'm Ebby, and I live in the Hingham Shipyard with my husband and golden retriever. I work remotely full-time in marketing for a B2B tech company, but I love kids, so until I have my own, I'm happy to do some babysitting part-time :) I graduated from college one year early in 2018 from College of Charleston with a B.A. in English and have been working full-time in marketing since then. I have babysat for children ages 6 months to 12 years. I have been a morning sitter, after-school sitter, date night sitter, and have even done overnight stays with the kids. I am comfortable helping with homework, doing art projects, playing outside, taking kids to activities, assisting with meal prep, bedtime/wake up routines, playing indoor games/with toys, and helping parents with grocery shopping, etc. I am also comfortable with pets, as I have a dog of my own, and my family consistently had dogs and cats growing up. I have two younger twin siblings, so growing up, I was often responsible for them when my parents were away. I was a camp counselor at the YWCA for two years, where I supervised and entertained kids from ages 5-12. I have 3 years of tutoring experience and have volunteered my time helping 5th-grade students with homework during an after-school program called Project Reach. I worked at a public library for 6 years, and during my time there, I was often staffing the Children's department. I helped at programs, assisted kids with requests, and taught them about the library. I signed up for Sittercity in 2018 because I love spending time with kids and getting to know them. I'm a fun and responsible role model, and it makes me so happy to know I could be having a positive impact on kids' lives. I look forward to meeting you!

I’m Brazilian and I’m 28 years old. I have over 9 years of childcare experience, including 5 years in Brazil and more than 4 years in the United States. During my most recent position, where I worked with the same family for almost three years, I gained extensive hands-on experience in child development and daily routines. I also had the opportunity to teach the children Portuguese as a second language, helping them learn and feel comfortable communicating in another language from an early age. I am a caring, patient, and affectionate nanny who truly enjoys working with children. I like to engage them in educational and fun activities, including indoor and outdoor play, creative games, reading, and age-appropriate learning activities. I speak Portuguese fluently and have basic Spanish skills. I am comfortable with pets and have great references. I am CPR/First Aid/AED certified, fully vaccinated against COVID-19, and I have my own car with reliable transportation. I currently live in Weymouth, MA, and I am available to work Monday through Saturday. Feel free to message me if you have any questions — I would be happy to talk!

I am a caring and dependable House Manager who loves creating a home environment where everything feels calm, comfortable, and well-organized. I take a hands-on, thoughtful approach to supporting the households I manage—whether that means coordinating schedules, helping with daily routines, or making sure the home runs smoothly behind the scenes. Building trust and strong communication is important to me, and I’m always looking for ways to anticipate needs and make life a little easier for the families I work with. I take pride in bringing warmth, consistency, and a positive spirit to every home I care for.

Good afternoon potential employers. My name is Mary and I am a reliable, responsible, energetic, and happy nanny. I have many years experience as a nanny as well as having been an EMT and a CNA in my past . I have worked with and adore all ages of children as well as special needs with a preference for toddlers . I love music, nature, and pets but unfortunately am allergic to cats. My duties in childcare have included light meals, laundry, changing diapers, bottle feeding, nap time, and more. The other times are spent on reading, crafts, walks, playgrounds, libraries, beaches, petting zoos, exploring and scheduled activities like ballet, karate, gymnastics and more. I would love to meet and care for a family w/ one or two children for at least one year commitment or more. ( short term considered) Thank you and have a great day. Mary

Hi thank you for taking the time to read by bio. I have been in the childcare field for 30+ years. I am infant, toddler and preschool certified as well as my course of study at college Human Services. I have worked in many childcare centers as well as having my own in home child care center for 10 years. I chose to instead leave the child care center setting and persue being a full time nanny. I am the second eldest of 7. As long as i can remember I have always wanted to take care of children. I remember as a young kid helping my mom care for my younger siblings. Over the years I have had the chance to not only travel within the United States and Europe but also many times to the Carribbean. Most recently I had the chance to travel to Haiti to provide food and medical relief to the people. I fell in love with the country and it's people most especially the children. It was so heart breaking to see the children living in such horrid conditions such as the filthy tent cities. During college I had the chance to go to Kentucky into the Appalachian Mountains and volunteer with doctors and nurses to help the people throughout the area. I again fell in love with all the children. It was so sad see how poor they were.Children without winter clothes, no shoes. I felt I must do something about it so I called my mom and asked her to please ask her friends and parishoners from our church to donate clothes. A huge truck arrived and their were many happy and warm children. I was thrilled! I also became very close to woman who's age was 100 or close to that. She taught me how to make homemade bread and to this day I still make it. I asked her one day if she had ever been ill and she said NO! I asked her what her secret was and she pointed to her pipe and her jug of moonshine at her feet! She was an amazing person. So the reason I want to be a nanny is because I totally adore children. They are our future. We can teach them well as they can also teach us. I would be honored to be part of your child's{children} life and watch and teach, help them grow along with loving them dearly.
