Hi there! I am a full-time social work student in the area seeking part-time work! I have extensive experience working with children in babysitting and clinical settings. This includes experience driving with children and caring for neurodivergent kiddos! I enjoy hands-on activities outside. I also went to school for fine arts, and I enjoy coming up with creative activities as well. I look forward to meeting you, and I'm sure I can be a great support for you and your family.

Hi! I'm Lian, a current college student at UMass Amherst, and I'm looking to provide some extra help or care for kid who need it while I'm working on campus over the summer. I don't have any professional experience with traditional child care (yet), but I have a wealth of other experiences that have developed my skills for working with kids and love for helping them out. I've helped to take care of younger cousins and my nephew growing up, providing care ranging from simply spending time with them and making sure they're safe, to homework help, preparing food, and providing strong emotional support when times get rough and they most need it. Through younger family, I have also had first-hand experience caring for kids with ADHD, including helping impulse control, and keeping patience when teaching academic skills like reading or math. I also have 2+ years of experience outside my family. One of these experiences is volunteer tutoring, where I have experience working with kids from upper elementary all the way through high school, teaching subjects such as math, reading comprehension & writing skills, and biology. At the same time, this experience has also helped develop my communication, minor conflict-resolution, and leadership skills. I've also volunteered at a marine life center, where I taught and engaged kids of all ages about our local marine wildlife, while also ensuring safety and rule-following. This included instructing safe and careful play in the touch-tanks (and redirecting kids from playing in the non-touch-tanks), keeping a close eye on or staying near them if parents needed to step out for any reason, and reminding them about respect for the wildlife (and one another) if things started to get a bit too rough. Most importantly though, this also gained me a lot of experience in ensuring the kids also had a fun, educational time. I'd answer all their questions as best as I could (including the ever-repetitive "Why?"), let them talk about their interests, helped them discover all the center had to offer, and most importantly, made sure they had fun while learning. I have training in CPR and extensive first-aid knowledge, as well as experience interacting with a range of special-needs kids (within and outside of family). Ultimately, what'd I love most about being a sitter is just getting to help kids out, teach them some interesting things along the way, and learn about what cool little humans they are.

Hello! I’m 18 and looking for a long term nanny position. I am available all day Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and the weekends. I have a reliable vehicle and am willing to do housework when needed. I have 8 years of childcare experience and I previously worked as a gymnastics teacher at Roots in Westfield teaching ages 6 months to 6 years. I also was a part of the Easthampton High School Tiny Tots program for 4 years. I am CPR, AED, and basic first aid certified for infants, children, and adults. I am willing to work long hours, help with homework, pack lunches and prepare meals. I have my associates and bachelor's in early childhood, as well as my masters in psychology. I have been in childcare for about 9 years working with different age groups (birth to five). I have such a strong passion working with kids and seeing them grow as individuals. I am currently a preschool teacher in a head start setting, wanting to help families out by babysitting after my head start shift. :)

Hi, I’m Emma Bonin! I’m current college student studying psychology, with a focus in child psychology and care. I’m a dedicated student and a dedicated sitter. I’m energetic but easygoing, and happy to help. I’ve been babysitting for family and friends since middle school, but in recent years I’ve gained a lot more professional experience with all kinds of kiddos. I’ve been a babysitter, I’ve worked in a church nursery, I have done volunteer work for kids with cognitive and physical disabilities, and I’ve worked as a summer camp counselor. I love being a babysitter because I’ve always been told that I work well with children, and it’s so much more engaging and real to me than working behind a cash register. Childhood is the mist important and impactful stage of life, and it’s important to nurture every kid on their individual path. I love to be helpful however I can, so I’m great for assisting with rides, errands, light housework, and I’ve been told that I’m a pretty good cook/baker. I’d love to help your family next!
