Hello! I am a mom of two wonderful young adults adopted from foster care as toddlers. I was lucky to have provided nanny services for a new mom when I was younger, and did plenty of babysitting. I have been part of the baby cuddler program at Baystate Franklin Medical Center for 10+ years supporting high needs newborns and their moms. It has been an incredibly rich and rewarding experience. I have my own arts business which allows me to have flexibility with my schedule. I’d love to provide ongoing child care for your family that gives you the peace of mind and consistency you need. In my free time I go on walks with my pup Hunny Bunny, play ping pong and spend time with friends. I look forward to supporting you and your family by providing safe, reliable and fun care for your baby or toddler. Take care- Pam

Hi there! I'm Eleyna. I’m from Eastern MA, but I live in Greenfield now! Some of my hobbies include pottery, other various crafts, and cooking. For the past two years I've been a garden and food educator for elementary students in Holyoke. Before that I worked with middle and high school students in Austria, and before that I babysat for a wide range of ages, worked as a substitute teacher, and was an assistant teacher at an elementary after school program. I love working with kids, guiding their social emotional development, encouraging a sense of curiosity and scientific inquiry, and above all supporting them in learning through play!

I have my associates and bachelor's in early childhood, as well as my masters in psychology. I have been in childcare for about 9 years working with different age groups (birth to five). I have such a strong passion working with kids and seeing them grow as individuals. I am currently a preschool teacher in a head start setting, wanting to help families out by babysitting after my head start shift. :)

I am a childcare professional with experience as: -a paraprofessional in a therapeutic elementary school and a charter middle school -a full time nanny -a regular babysitter -an overnight camp counselor. I am a student of attachment theory and the polyvagal theory and I use loving-kindness, relationship building, routines, and firm limit setting to build a stable, warm, predictable environment for kids. I can provide homework help, transportation, activity planning, and assistance with cooking, housework, and pets. I am firmly rooted in anti-racist study and liberatory practices. I believe it takes a village to raise a child and it would be my pleasure to support your family. I am available for occasional and part-time work until 8/29 at which point I am available for full-time, part-time, and occasional work.

I’m a recent graduate and currently work as a substitute teacher, so I have plenty of experience supporting children in safe, structured, and fun environments. I love caring for kids and helping them feel comfortable, heard, and engaged. I’ve worked with children of different ages, can help with routines, homework, meals, and I always make sure kids are safe while still having fun. Families describe me as patient, dependable, and great with communication. I’d love to support your family and provide care you can feel confident in.

I'm extremely passionate about childcare and making a positive impact on the wellbeing of everyone involved. I adore being able to be a positive influence on a child's development, and safety is my absolute number one priority at all times. I'm looking for a long term babysitting opportunity, but ANY opportunity to help someone out or lighten their load is a welcome opportunity. Alongside childcare, I can also help out with household tasks such as laundry, cooking, tidying up in general, homework help, entertainment, and anything specific you'd like me to do for your child. CPR certified, extremely open and eager to learn.

Hi! I'm Lian, a current college student at UMass Amherst, and I'm looking to provide some extra help or care for kid who need it while I'm working on campus over the summer. I don't have any professional experience with traditional child care (yet), but I have a wealth of other experiences that have developed my skills for working with kids and love for helping them out. I've helped to take care of younger cousins and my nephew growing up, providing care ranging from simply spending time with them and making sure they're safe, to homework help, preparing food, and providing strong emotional support when times get rough and they most need it. Through younger family, I have also had first-hand experience caring for kids with ADHD, including helping impulse control, and keeping patience when teaching academic skills like reading or math. I also have 2+ years of experience outside my family. One of these experiences is volunteer tutoring, where I have experience working with kids from upper elementary all the way through high school, teaching subjects such as math, reading comprehension & writing skills, and biology. At the same time, this experience has also helped develop my communication, minor conflict-resolution, and leadership skills. I've also volunteered at a marine life center, where I taught and engaged kids of all ages about our local marine wildlife, while also ensuring safety and rule-following. This included instructing safe and careful play in the touch-tanks (and redirecting kids from playing in the non-touch-tanks), keeping a close eye on or staying near them if parents needed to step out for any reason, and reminding them about respect for the wildlife (and one another) if things started to get a bit too rough. Most importantly though, this also gained me a lot of experience in ensuring the kids also had a fun, educational time. I'd answer all their questions as best as I could (including the ever-repetitive "Why?"), let them talk about their interests, helped them discover all the center had to offer, and most importantly, made sure they had fun while learning. I have training in CPR and extensive first-aid knowledge, as well as experience interacting with a range of special-needs kids (within and outside of family). Ultimately, what'd I love most about being a sitter is just getting to help kids out, teach them some interesting things along the way, and learn about what cool little humans they are.
