I’m a 45 year old mother of one boy and one girl, who started her career as a babysitter and special needs caretaker assistant. I’ve served as a volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters and spent countless hours volunteering on school campuses. I spent a decade working for state parks and took frequent and detailed safety trainings on numerous topics from poison control to burn care, fire safety, etc. On a personal note I enjoy many hobbies, animals and nature, love hiking and swimming, sports, and even play video games. A little bit about me… Hey there! My name is Aliah, and I grew up in a big family where I've always been surrounded by kids of all ages. During my high school years, I did an internship at a preschool, where I helped the kids with their tasks, joined them for story time, and had a blast creating colorful arts and crafts with them. Then, I got the amazing opportunity to work at Great Wolf Lodge as an entertainer ambassador. I organized dance parties, told bedtime stories, hosted family trivia, played kids' bingo, and did fun arts and crafts like making buttons. I also spent a year babysitting four children, ages 2, 4, 7, and 12. From taking them to the park and treating them to ice cream, to playing board games and having movie nights, it was a joy to be a part of their lives.
