Hi! I'm Karen. I am a devoted and loving mom of two young adults. As a former foster parent for the state of Maryland, I have cared for children of all ages and am CPR certified and first aid trained through the Red Cross. I have experience caring for children who have autism, ADHD and other disabilities. In addition to raising my own children and fostering, I acquired childcare experience through babysitting for family, friends and neighbors, previously working at a daycare center, leading classroom lessons and activities at my church and also substitute teaching elementary age students. Watching children learn and grow through engaging interaction is fulfilling and enjoyable to me. I like to occupy children with craft activities, art projects, games and puzzles, outdoor play, cooking lessons...anything that limits screen time and encourages imagination and creativity. I believe that some down time is also important. For that purpose, book reading, puppet shows, cloud shape guessing and wildlife watching would be some of my possible choices. There's surely no lack of things I could come up with to keep children busy, but the number one reason to choose me to be your caregiver is this...I love kids! They make life fun! I really enjoy teaching them and then watching them progress through their many stages of childhood. You can expect that I will treat your child/children with respect and I will nurture and care for them as if they were my own.

Karen was perfect for us. Karen was always right there for us. The boys just love her and the boys never seemed to tire of trying to show off for her. It is hard to think that we could find a better sitter than Karen.

We’ve been very happy with Iqra as our after-school sitter for our 5-year-old son. She’s dependable, always arrives on time, and communicates clearly and promptly with us. What we appreciate most is how genuinely engaged she is with our son—she plays with him, encourages his imagination, and keeps him happily active after a long day of school. He looks forward to seeing her, which says a lot! We feel confident and comfortable knowing he’s in such good hands. Highly recommend.

Hello! My name is Tiffany. I am a forty-year-old military spouse. I recently moved to Bel Air. I have three children; a twenty-five year old daughter, a fifteen-year-old son, and an ten-year-old son. I am a registered nurse. I am certified in Pediatric & Adult CPR, First Aid, and Basic Life Support. I have been providing care for children since I was twelve years old. I would provide care for a lot of my neighbors, friends, family, and friends of my family members. They would refer me to anyone they knew who was looking for childcare. Since my husband has been in the military, we have lived in Tampa for four years, Hawaii for four years, Texas for one year, Washington state for two years and now back in Maryland. While residing at these locations, I have provided care for a few of the military families that I had the pleasure of meeting. I provide care in my home because it allows me to be available for my children as well if there are any changes with school or if they need to stay home. However, I am open to possibly providing care in your home depending on the day, time, and situation. We can discuss if that would be an option. My house is very safe and child-friendly with plenty of toys and age-appropriate activities to keep your children entertained. I like to incorporate learning into play to make learning fun and can provide homework help. If you're interested, please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. I look forward to working with you to see if I can help meet all of you and your family's needs. Thank you for your time and have a blessed day!

She cared for my two sons from the time they were just 6 months old through age 4, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better person to trust with them. She was always attentive, caring, and genuinely involved in their day-to-day lives. Beyond just watching them, she played an important role in their growth—encouraging learning, guiding their development, and helping build a strong foundation for their education. My boys were always happy, safe, and engaged in her care. I’m so grateful for the love and dedication she showed our family.

I have worked as a Preschool teacher, babysitter and nanny for over 16 years. I am fluent in Spanish and English and have my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. I am also CPR certified. I have taken care of children between the ages of 3 months and 13 years old. I feel communication is key between the parent and childcare provider. I have learned to work with parents as a team, and listen to what they want for their children and what their goals are. That way, I provide for their needs as best I can.

I am a loving nanny that has worked with 4 families for the past 10 years. I have experience with children from infant stage to 10 years old. Previously, I stayed home from work to care for my now grown children, something that I wanted to do since I was in my teens. I am a college graduate and was a sales manager up until I had my first child. I come with very good references and I treat children with respect and care for them as I would my own. My main concern is the children but I will do light housework if time permits. I am very flexible and fun and loving. I respect the fact that it takes a lot of trust to put your children into the care of someone else. Therefore, you can expect that I will adhere to your wishes, following daily routines that you have set, leaving you with the comfort of knowing that your children will be well cared for. I am open to support a family part time weekday evenings and anytime on weekends.

Hi there! I love being a sitter because it gives me the opportunity to provide a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for both children and family pets. I have extensive experience managing busy households, including hands-on experience caring for two toddler brothers, so I am very comfortable keeping up with high energy levels and multitasking. In addition to childcare, I am a huge animal lover and have plenty of experience caring for pets, including feeding, walking, and maintaining their schedules. I am incredibly comfortable in homes with indoor pets and love treating them like family. I pride myself on being reliable, attentive, and highly observant of both kids' and pets' needs. I look forward to helping your family!
