I have come to the realization that every child is created in their own unique way. I have experience of caring for children over night, and overnight infant nursing care. The ranges of children that I have cared for is from newborn to high school. I come from a large family, so I know what it means to multitask and get the job done! I also have reliable transportation, and do not mind being around pets. Over the years, I have taught in a private school (kindergarten, first grade, second grade). Hi! Previously a 1st grade teacher for 3 years, before that, a preschool teacher for 3 years and in infant care 2. My years experience as a teacher gave me the opportunity to run and operate my own learning pod (daycare) in my home for 3 years while I was living in Hawaii due to my husbandbeing in the Navy. Overall I've been working with children, infants to middle school for about 12 years now. I recently moved to Maryland, and though I won't be opening a pod while I'm here, I am looking forward to helping out where I can!

We sing gospel songs and age appropriate songs together. I am not a huge fan of YouTube, but I love being more hands on “pencil to paper”. I create workbooks to cater to each child. I also provide Spanish teaching, Sight word flash cards, and Biblical teaching (parents choice). I’m a huge fan of hooked on phonics, so this course can be provided as well. Thank you.
