Since that time I have worked as a special educator in an early intervention program, working with Infants and Toddlers for four years. This helped me gain valuable experience and knowledge about children with special needs and their families. I also have over 10 years of experience in Head Start program management. I've worked as a nanny, a substitute pre-school teacher, a dog walker/pet sitter, a behavior technician for young children with autism, and I spent a few years doing wildlife surveys for the U.S. Forest Service.
