Hi! My name is Jessica, and I have 19 years of childcare experience through babysitting, nannying, and early childhood education. I started babysitting at 14 years old and have always had a genuine passion for working with children and supporting families. I worked at The Goddard School for four years as a Teacher Assistant, where I helped care for children in a structured classroom environment. My responsibilities included supporting daily routines, assisting with educational activities, supervising playtime, maintaining a safe and nurturing environment, and helping children learn and grow through positive engagement and consistency. My background in psychology, social science, early childhood education, and cybersecurity has helped me develop strong communication, organization, patience, reliability, and a deep understanding of child development and emotional support. Families describe me as dependable, patient, caring, and trustworthy. I love creating a warm, safe, and positive environment where children feel supported, comfortable, and encouraged to be themselves. I take pride in building strong relationships with both children and parents and understand how important it is for families to feel confident and at ease with their childcare provider. I am also offering nannying care from my home in a smaller, personalized setting. This allows me to provide more one on one attention, a calm environment, structured routines, and individualized care to help each child feel safe, comfortable, and supported throughout the day. Looking forward to hearing from you!

Jessica has been a wonderful part of our family for many years! She cared for our child as a full-time nanny and continues to be our go-to for date nights and babysitting. Jess is loving, and dependable. We trust her completely with our family. Our child absolutely adores her and over the years she has truly become part of our family. We highly recommend Jess to any family looking for someone they can trust and rely on!

Hi I'm Heather! I'm looking for occasional babysitting work. I've worked as a nanny, a substitute pre-school teacher, a dog walker/pet sitter, a behavior technician for young children with autism, and I spent a few years doing wildlife surveys for the U.S. Forest Service. I love working with children because they see the world in a different way. They remind me to live in the moment and the importance of having fun! Some of my favorite activities to do with children are singing and dancing, going on adventure walks, and any sort of art project. I also enjoy fostering a child's natural curiosity about the world around them through reading and hands on experiences. I find childcare fulfilling because it allows me the opportunity to help children develop the skills they need to pursue their dreams.

Heather was a nanny for our son, starting from when he was an infant for about a year and a half until he started daycare. She was fantastic. She was very sweet, patient, and loving with him; always came up with creative and engaging ways to play indoors and outdoors; sang songs to him and taught him basic sign language to communicate; was attentive to his every need; and from a parent's perspective was very easy to work with. She was always very prompt, communicative about their day together and any needs or concerns she identified, and always gave as much advance notice as she could for those rare occasions she needed off or was too ill to work. We enjoyed having her care for our son, and he absolutely adored everything about her. Would highly recommend hiring Heather.

As a dedicated childcare provider, I am passionate about fostering bright futures and nurturing individuals of all backgrounds. With a Bachelor’s degree in Human Ecology and Master’s Child Development, I bring both educational knowledge and practical experience to my role as a nanny. I have over 5 years of experience working in various childcare settings, including schools and private homes, where I've developed a deep understanding of children's needs. My previous roles have included teaching 1st grade at Loftin Love Academy, where I created engaging lesson plans and fostered an inclusive atmosphere for all students. In addition to my teaching experience, I have provided childcare through Sittercity, managing schedules, planning activities, and supporting children with individualized education plans (IEPs). I hold certifications in CPR, AED, and First Aid, and I am committed to promoting safety and well-being in every interaction. I believe in creating fun, educational, and supportive environments for children, where they can learn, grow, and express themselves. I am excited to bring my skills and compassionate approach to families, ensuring a nurturing and enriching experience for children.

Kel helped us out on weekdays for a month (Jan. 2022) when we were in a bind. She was wonderful and we really miss her! She was so patient with the kids (5 and almost 2) and kept them safe. She loved playing with them and knew how to set appropriate boundaries when their behavior slipped. She did very well sticking to their schedule and keeping them in their routine. My family greatly benefited from her help and the kids loved her. Her education background really came through in using different communication strategies and educational activities with the kids. I could tell she truly enjoys working with children. Don’t miss the opportunity to have her work with your child!

Hello! My name is Tiffany. I am a forty-year-old military spouse. I recently moved to Bel Air. I have three children; a twenty-five year old daughter, a fifteen-year-old son, and an ten-year-old son. I am a registered nurse. I am certified in Pediatric & Adult CPR, First Aid, and Basic Life Support. I have been providing care for children since I was twelve years old. I would provide care for a lot of my neighbors, friends, family, and friends of my family members. They would refer me to anyone they knew who was looking for childcare. Since my husband has been in the military, we have lived in Tampa for four years, Hawaii for four years, Texas for one year, Washington state for two years and now back in Maryland. While residing at these locations, I have provided care for a few of the military families that I had the pleasure of meeting. I provide care in my home because it allows me to be available for my children as well if there are any changes with school or if they need to stay home. However, I am open to possibly providing care in your home depending on the day, time, and situation. We can discuss if that would be an option. My house is very safe and child-friendly with plenty of toys and age-appropriate activities to keep your children entertained. I like to incorporate learning into play to make learning fun and can provide homework help. If you're interested, please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. I look forward to working with you to see if I can help meet all of you and your family's needs. Thank you for your time and have a blessed day!

Hi, my name is Jennifer , but prefer to be called Jenn ! I have been working with children for over 8+ years as a nanny and have 3 years of experience as a childcare teacher, including experience as a lead teacher. I have cared for children ranging from infant–teenaged and have experience supporting children through different stages of development. I am also a mom to a preschooler! As a childcare teacher, I have helped children develop early literacy skills, including reading and writing, and have enjoyed preparing young children for preschool. I love creating activities that are both fun and educational while allowing children to explore their creativity and interests. Some of my favorite activities to do with children include painting, drawing, reading books, and playing with toys. I am very sweet, calm-natured, patient, and nurturing. I believe children thrive when they feel loved, supported, and encouraged, so I always strive to create a safe and positive environment where they can be themselves. When challenges or big emotions come up, I use gentle redirection and help children calm down and work through their feelings in a supportive way. I also have experience helping children reach important milestones, including potty training.

Taryn who is passionately known in our house as Ms T is an absolute pleasure to work with. My daughter loves her and so do we as parents. Ms T is a great communicator, always punctual and overall shows she has a care not only for our daughter but our family. We were so sad when our daughter transitioned to a daycare center and we were no longer working with Ms T. We still keep communication because of the great relationship we built during her time with us. She helped us tremendously as first time parents! I can say so many great things about Ms T and any family would be soo fortunate to have her apart of you and your kid’s lives!!!!
