Truly, I have passion for being in the company of children because I have more than 15 years’ experience of taking care of other people’s children. Not to mention, the five children that I have of my own that I raised with care. To me, Patience and understanding goes along way when in the presence of children. During those years, I developed a deep love for nurturing young children’s growth; academically, socially, and emotionally. In addition to teaching, I’ve volunteered with organizations supporting refugee children in need as well as children affected by abuse, experiences that strengthened my compassion, patience, and trauma-informed approach to caregiving.
