A little about me… I have worked with children since I was 15 years old. I started out assisting in a day care center, and then when I graduated from High School, I began teaching preschool while attending college. I have worked with infants up to school age children. I taught 1st grade for 6 years, and have also taught 4th grade. I have four children- ages 10,8,4, & 3! I am very familiar with the Calvert, Anne Arundel and Prince George's areas. I grew up in Dunkirk, MD, which is in Calvert County. While attending the University of Maryland, I lived in Annapolis, MD and and relocated back to Calvert County after graduating. I like to do pretty much anything that involves the outdoors. We are involved in many different community events. They enjoy the library and the programs offered there. We're lucky to have a few local community center who plan amazing activities for the kids. Overall though, just having fun and making memories :) One of my newest hobbies is gardening. I love getting together and spending time with my family and friends. I completed my Master's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Maryland. My degree also gives me the opportunity to become a Reading Specialist, which I plan to pursue in the near future. I'm currently looking for a family to work with on occasion or reoccurring weekday (few days a week/flexible on days), weekends, and/or date nights. Please feel free to message with with any questions you may have. Thank you! Hope to hear from you soon, Ashlee

Hello!! My name is Iyana. I am a graduate student at Bowie State University. I have 5 years of experience working with children from infants to elementary school aged children. I previously taught 8th grade for a year and a half, working with students who have learning disabilities such as dyslexia, ADHD, and autism. I love being a sitter because each child is different, so every experience is different. I love getting to know each child on an individual level and learning their likes and dislikes. My favorite things to do as a sitter are playing board games, karaoke, going hiking, and cooking.

Hello dear Parents: I am seeking full time or part-time position. Also, I am available on weekends or as needed. For the last 7 years I have been caring little ones from infants to pre-kindergarteners and elementary kids. I also enjoyed thoroughly working with first time parents caring for little bundles of joy. My last experiences are 15 weeks and 4 and 2-months old babies. My duties as a nanny are to feed (I can prepare food from scratch) their bottles of formula or breastmilk, change diapers, put them for naps, sleep training. I also play with the baby's toys to encourage them to grasp their toys and mentioning to them the colors, names, and sounds to promote cognitive development. I also put babies in tummy time so that their neck muscles get stronger day by day for later to roll over, sit up, and crawl. I have prepared healthy meals, and I am very organized and like to be active with the kids. I also help them to get ready for bed and wait until parents arrive from work. I currently have Child Development Certification, SIDS, CPR and AED certified as well. Thanks for reading my profile. Ysabel

I am currently an engineer for a major general contractor in Washington, DC. I graduated in 2014 from Lafayette College with a degree in engineering and architecture. I recently got married and am working hard to save some extra money to help pay for living expenses and student loans. In college I was involved with Pi Beta Phi Sorority whose philanthropy works directly with young children in teaching them to learn to read. I have also been babysitting for the past 11 years. To me, light housekeeping is part of the babysitting job, I always do my very best to leave a home tidier than when I arrived. I am able and willing to care for any number of children at any age. I also love caring for pets. I am familiar and comfortable with children who have disabilities.

I became a caregiver because I believe in empowering young minds. I’ve been in the field for over 10 years and come highly recommend. From childcare management to now full time nannying. I take my time with children and care about their well being! I understand that each behavior, like and dislike, and over comfort level is different for each child I meet. I do my part to enhance and encourage healthy development, speech and emotional growth. All children give me great satisfaction and I wouldn’t change it for the world! Sometimes I often think that I’m super grateful for the many influences that I had in my life. During the years worked in a childcare centers and various volunteer groups I’ve seen so many different relationships being formed. I myself am still connected to those children from years ago. They still remember the fun times that we had together. The bonds that we as caregivers establish are unbelievable. Parents, like to feel comfortable and that’s what I do! I accommodate. i like to think of myself as a kid at heart. If interested please feel free to txt me 202-438-9418

I have a gentle, friendly, and reliable personality. Parents often tell me they feel at ease knowing I’m dependable, communicative, and attentive to details. I understand how important it is for parents to stay informed, so I’m always open to providing regular updates and following household preferences closely. Childcare Approach • Safe & Nurturing: I provide a calm and secure environment where children feel comfortable and cared for. • Flexible & Supportive: I follow your lead regarding household rules, routines, and preferences. • Patient & Gentle: With years of client care experience, I know how to stay calm, adaptable, and encouraging in any situation. • Household Help: Comfortable with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and helping maintain order. • Trustworthy Communication: I believe in open, transparent communication with parents at all times.
