I am an experienced babysitter with over 10 years of babysitting experience. Caring for ages newborn to preteens. I have been working part time as a substitute teacher at Safe Haven Babies LLC Day Care in Upper Marlboro Maryland for two years. Per the state of Maryland, I’ve had a background check completed. I have also trained and gotten certified in CPR/First Aid for Adults and Pediatric. During the pandemic I had the opportunity to tutor and help kids while they participated in virtual learning. For a short period of time, I also had the chance to assist as a volunteer at an Assisted living facility. I do light house keeping, along with cooking and can run necessary errands. I have reliable transportation. What I look forward to the most is helping out parents when they need an extra hand or simply needing a break from their everyday parenting life. For my pet lovers, I have experience with caring for household pets. I hope to eventually become bilingual and learn American Sign Language.

Tia has been such a blessing to our family — excellent communication skills and loving caretaker to little ones. She engages in age appropriate play and not only develops a relationship with the children, but the parents as well. We consider her an extension of our family and highly recommend her to any family in need of care.

Greetings Parent(s). I am a mom of three older children and I absolutely love children of all ages !! I have been a babysitter, nanny, tutor and a Pre-school teacher. I am certified to teach children Newborn - Kindergarten as well as CPR&First Aid certified(infants-adults). I have a Master’s degree in a discipline outside of childcare. I’ve been in childcare for 20+ years and I truly miss the children & families on a day-to-day basis from my classroom and full-time nanny days. I’m open to cooking for the children, taking them to&from activities, caring for them overnight as well as coming as a travel nanny (once we’re all comfortable) and walks outside/outdoor play, etc.- I’m flexible on activities you may select. I am more than willing to get an additional background check or more training if it’s required. I am familiar with and able to do a nanny share as well. For group/party inquiries, kindly contact elitechildcare.ecs@gmail.com.

Deri has watched our baby and toddler several times now, and every experience has been wonderful. Our girls absolutely adore her and get so excited whenever they know she’s coming over. She consistently keeps us updated throughout the day or evening, which gives us such peace of mind. Deri is always punctual, flexible, and incredibly dependable. Most importantly, she is kind, engaging, and genuinely caring with our girls. We feel so grateful to have found someone so trustworthy and reliable. She has truly become our go-to sitter, and I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional childcare.

I am 27 years old. I have worked with kids since a young age and have been a nanny professionally for the past 7+ years. I have cared for children from birth to 14 years of age (1 to 6 kids at a time). I used to help out in Kids Ministry at church as well with up to 8 kids in a class. I enjoy helping kids with brain development and reaching milestones through reading, music, and games. I help strengthen their fine and gross motor skills with appropriate activities. I make sure older children learn to do basic chores, learn to follow directions, and stay safe. I make healthy meals and snacks and can help with taking the kids to their appointments and run errands if needed. I have my Newborn Care Specialist and Doula certifications and currently working one my Early Childhood Education degree. I have reliable transportation and a good driving record. I don't mind having a background check done or getting paid on the books. I am also Adult/Pediatric CPR/FA/AED certified.

Kidist was especially responsive and responsible. She's really easy to work with, my son loved her and I'd still be using her if it weren't for the pandemic.

I would 100% recommend Dayana as a babysitter. Over the past several months, she has been an exceptional caregiver for my 6-year-old son. She has consistently been reliable, always arriving on time and ready to engage with him. One of the things that stood out most about Dayana was her ability to build a genuine connection with my son. She took the time to learn about his interests, watch movies with him, and have conversations about his favorite topics, which made him feel valued, understood, and excited to spend time with her. My son has ADHD, and Dayana was incredibly patient, understanding, and attentive to his needs. She created a supportive environment where he felt comfortable, safe, and happy. As a parent, it gave me great peace of mind knowing he was in her care. Dayana was also excellent at communicating with me. She kept me informed, was responsive when I had questions, and made sure I always felt confident about my son’s well-being while he was in her care. She would let me know when she was on her way and when she dropped him off at school. She would send me pictures, which I greatly appreciated as well. My son always looked forward to spending time with Dayana and would get excited whenever he knew he was going to see her. It was clear that she genuinely cared about him and enjoyed working with children. I wholeheartedly recommend Dayana to any family looking for a caring, dependable, and attentive babysitter. She has a natural ability to connect with children, and I am grateful for the positive impact she had on my son. Any family would be fortunate to have her caring for their children.

I’ve been baby sitting for about four years: before that I was taking care of my nieces and nephews. I am very comfortable taking care of children of all ages. I make sure to create a fun, positive, and safe environment for each kiddo. I make sure every kid I am tending to is well looked after, constantly learning and staying active. I always want the kids and their parents to have full trust in me, and know that I will put their kids needs first.

Hi, my name is Carol! I have been babysitting for about 15 years (12 years professionally) and I am also a mom to a 10-year-old! Along with raising my son, I’ve helped raise my younger brothers and my nephews. I have worked in my church's nursery since I was 12 years old, took and passed the Child Development course in high school, and worked at Minnieland Academy from 2009-2010. I am comfortable with all ages, from newborns to teenagers. I also have extensive experience with special needs children, specifically with Autism and non-verbal communication. My own son is on the spectrum, and it has taught me so much about patience and finding unique ways to connect with kids who see the world differently. I love caring for kids because they are just so joyful and authentic; they live in the here and now. I find they often teach me just as much as I teach them! While I am the authority figure, I don’t believe in "bulldozing" kids, I prefer to listen, ask questions, and be a positive influence. I have experience with: - Morning care -Weekend care -Overnight care -House sitting/supervision -Date night(s) I also have great references upon request!

I found Carol in a pinch and she completely pulled through for me and my family! She arrived on time, and my kids (ages 6 and 10) IMMEDIATELY gravitated towards her; my son---a social butterfly though slow to warm--immediately brought out his Pokemon book and started reading with her. She is awesome, and we'll hire her again in a heartbeat.

We had the pleasure of meeting Shelene in person while interviewing candidates for our daughter’s nanny. During that process, she also spent an afternoon caring for our daughter, which gave us the chance to see her professionalism and attentiveness firsthand. She was extremely professional, well spoken, and clearly deeply cares about the work she does. Her nursing background came through strongly in the thoughtful questions she asked about our daughter’s needs, and it was obvious that she is highly qualified and would make an outstanding nanny. Although we ultimately did not move forward with Shelene, that decision had nothing to do with her qualifications, and we were more than confident that she would have been an amazing fit for our family. We would absolutely consider working with her in the future and would feel very confident recommending her to other families.
