I will be finishing my 21st year as a second and third teacher. l graduated 9 years ago with my Master's in Education. I have had 20+ years of childcare experience. I have been a nanny or babysitter for over 20 years. I was a babysitter starting in high school and continued on the side until college. While in college I was a nanny through Beacon Hill Nannies and lived in New York as a live in nanny. The following summers I have been a nanny in Falmouth, Yarmouth, Cumberland, Cape Elizabeth,Freeport, Kennebunkport ,Scarborough and Boothbay Harbor. I have also done multiple nanny jobs in New York and throughout New England. I have been a nanny for children ages new born twins to twelve years old. I have great references as well. I currently have open availability for after-school care, school vacations, and date nights. I also will travel for weddings, events or ski resorts. I am currently starting to book traveling families for the 2026 calendar. I worked over 20 weddings in Maine the last five summers and worked for many families on vacation in hotels or homes they rented. My specialty is birth to 12 mo. but have enjoyed all ages. My hourly rate is $24-25 for 1 child depending on what is needed, $27 for 2 children, $20-25 for single events. Included: simple meal prep for the baby, dishes, tidying toys at day's end, minimal pet care. Nannying is my sole income, so like a daycare, I am paid a weekly salary to hold that timeslot for the duration of the assignment. I've spent a lot of time around kids since I grew up in a huge family of 5 kids and 6 stepsiblings. The first thing I did to make money was babysit, I started when I was eleven and have babysat for so many different families since. I'm a trained babysitter with American Red Cross and have been certified in CPR for children, toddlers, and infants. I did this training to ensure that I could handle emergency situations. I play the guitar and love singing along to nursery rhymes with kids I'm babysitting. I love doing art and making sure that kids are having fun and being creative. I've also tutored many different age groups and grew up with a teacher as a mother. This makes helping kids learn a lot easier. I currently do not have a certificate for CPR and first aid although I have had the courses and do you know how to perform CPR on the adults and children. I am looking to care for some children after school in my home part-time. School bus comes right by my house on McKeen Street I'm pretty much close to everything in town. I am a flexible person so coming to person's home is not out of the question.
