Hello! I am an experienced caregiver who has participated in childcare for over 22 years as a nanny, babysitter, and in center based environments. I have experience with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school aged kiddos; I have cared for children up to age 16. I have done numerous overnights for families, so I have experience with that! I put emphasis on learning through play, and, being a nature lover, try to find ways to incorporate nature in our activities. When with your child, we can sing, read, dance, do art projects, listen to music, go for walks, and take field trips to farms, the museum, playgrounds, and other fun places. I have taken child development classes, so I am pretty aware of where kids are developmentally. Respecting others is important to me, so I try to find teachable moments to convey this. Hi! I recently graduated from Saint Joseph's College of Maine with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance. During my time in college, I was able to connect with and meet a bunch of families in need of helping take care of their kids! The ages ranged from as young as 1 year old to as old as 11 years old! With 3 years of experience, I was able to help kids out by helping them with meals, bus pick-ups, sports event drop-offs, etc. As a babysitter, I was super easygoing with the tasks the parents asked of me!

I am a fun, creative and nurturing person. I strongly believe in the power of play, as well as reading to children. I have been a nanny for several families and have babysat for numerous families. I am a special education ed. tech and BHP. Since I received my associates in Early Childhood Education and my bachelors in Early Childhood Administration. I’m a current 6th grade history teacher in Chelsea, MA. I am going into my 3rd year teaching but prior to this year I have worked at YMCA summer camps with children between the ages of 4-14.
