Right now, I’m teaching art at the Middle School of the Kennebunks and working toward my master’s degree in Art Education. I’ve worked with kids of all ages, from four months to teenagers. Hello! My name is Maddie and I am a teacher at a special purpose preschool for children with Autism. On a day to day basis I provide individualized instruction, work on functional communication, and social skills. I also have experience with toilet training ages 3-5, as well as teaching self care skills. My primary experience with infants and toddlers but I am comfortable with all ages. My previous experience is in a Gen Ed/Special Ed kindergarten classroom, where I facilitated play, worked on science/math skills, and other subjects.
