My name is Cecilia Provins. I am originally from Indiana, but moved to Kalamazoo for school! I recently graduated from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education! I am the oldest of 8, which has heavily influenced my love for children & teaching. As for experience, I was the mother figure in my family for several years. My youngest sibling is only 6 months old. I have regularly babysat for date nights/events for a 5 year old boy, as well as a three year old girl. I am very patient & caring for others, as well as dependable. I will not be attending school over summer, so I am looking for a part-time job that aligns with my love for teaching. I’m currently a full time EMT with experience in babysitting throughout high school. I love babysitting for many reasons but one of the top reasons is seeing how young minds learn and being able to see the world from their perspective. I am a recent highschool graduate and am graduating Kellogg Community College this spring with my associates in science (by being in the early college program). I plan to keep going to school after and plan on becoming a pediatric doctor. I have four years of child sitting experience, with ages three months to 12 years old.
