My name is Jillian and I graduated from Detroit Mercy in 2024 with my Bachelors of Science in Nursing. I started in tbd NICU nurse at Children’s Hospital of Michigan in Detroit. Currently in the pediatric critical and acute care float pool. I have been working with children for almost 10 years!! I started out as a Counselor at Independence Township Parks, Recreation, and Seniors Summer Camp! Over the years, I worked my way up and became a Supervisor of the kindergarten through 5th grade camp! Once I went to college, I started volunteering at Children’s Hospital of Michigan. They hired me as a Patient Attendant Safety. Through this job, I have learned how to work with children of all ages and learned how to properly handle any situation. Shortly after, I became a Student Nurse Extern in the NICU and have been in this specialized role for 2 yeas. This year, I celebrate 8 years at Children’s Hospital in various nursing roles! In addition, I have my CPR certification, BLS training, PALS and NRP which is specifically for infants and toddlers! I am also equipped with mental health and ASD certifications. Hi there, I am a momma of two sweet boys, ages 1 and 5 years old and one fur baby! I have my elementary teaching license with 8 year experience in the classroom classroom. With that being said, I am creating a supplimental arts and craft program for local preschool and elementary aged children on the weekends.
