In the past ten years, I've been working as a substitute teacher in the Clarkston Area schools k-12 grades. I watched a two year old girl in Independence twp. Plus finished raising my own boys who are now 22 and 24 studying at the university level. My babysitting experience began at age 14, babysitting in Rochester Hills. My childcare education began at Holly Comunitee Ed through a state sponsored childcare program called Summer Kids which I worked at for three summers. I received a Bachelor's of Arts Degree from UM with additional classes at OCC in Criminal Justice and Psychology to work as a caseworker. I enjoy working with children and hold this responsibility very seriously.

My name is Jillian and I just graduated from Detroit Mercy with my Bachelors of Science in Nursing. I started in tbd NICU nurse at Children’s Hospital of Michigan in Detroit. Currently in the pediatric float pool. I have been working with children for almost 10 years!! I started out as a Counselor in Training at Independence Township Parks, Recreation, and Seniors Summer Camp! Over the years, I worked my way up and became a Supervisor of the kindergarten through 5th grade camp! Once I went to college, I started volunteering at Children’s Hospital of Michigan. They hired me as a Patient Attendant Safety. Through this job, I have learned how to work with children of all ages and learned how to properly handle any situation. Shortly after, I became a Student Nurse Extern in the NICU and have been in this specialized role for 2 yeas. This year, I celebrate 6 years at Children’s Hospital and accepted an RN position to stay in the NICU! In addition, I have my CPR certification, BLS training, and PALS which is specifically for infants and toddlers! I am also equipped with mental health and ASD certifications. I am a passionate, motivated, and light hearted girl looking for a little extra money so I can travel the world and pay for my upcoming wedding!
