Hi everyone! 😊 I’m a 19-year-old college student looking for a full-time, long-term nanny position starting at the end of June in the Caledonia, Grand Rapids, or Byron Center area! I know this may seem a little early to be posting, but I wanted to put this out there for families who may be looking ahead and hoping to find a nanny for the summer or upcoming school year. I’m currently in college studying Physical Education and Child Development, with plans to become a PE teacher after college. I’ve been working with children for about 7 years through babysitting, caring for younger family members, and working with local families. I also have two younger siblings who are 4 and 3 years old, so I’ve had lots of experience with little ones both personally and through babysitting. I’ve cared for children of all ages, but I especially love working with babies and toddlers (3 and under)! For almost 3 years, I’ve also worked at the YMCA in before/after-school childcare, where I work with children from young 5s through 4th grade. I help create a fun environment while incorporating age-appropriate activities and curriculum. I also completed Teacher Academy through Kent Career Tech Center, where I spent a semester in a 1st grade classroom and over a semester in an ASD classroom. I gained experience helping with lessons, working one-on-one with students, and providing behavior support. I’m CPR certified, have a clean driving record, and am comfortable with pets. I grew up with dogs and cats and would be more than happy to help with household tasks such as kids laundry, dishes, meal prep, and keeping the house tidy while caring for the children. I’m also happy to help with homework, activities, outings, and transportation. I’m hoping to find a family who is looking for a reliable, caring, long-term nanny who can stay with them through the school year. I’m looking for around 30–40 hours per week, ideally starting around 8 AM and finishing between 4–5 PM. I will be taking college classes during the school year, so having one weekday off for classes would be ideal, but I’m flexible and can work with a family’s schedule. My starting rate is $18/hour, depending on the number of children and responsibilities. I’m also happy to provide references from families I’ve babysat for as well as my Teacher Academy teacher. Hi! I absolutely love being around kids🤗 they make my day. I love to watch them learn and grow and interact thought the day. I've been around kids my.whole life! They light up my day. Infants and toddlers to about 6 are my best ages that I've worked with. I hope to help you out!!! I was recently a nanny, mom is staying home now due to covid. My duties included infant care from newborn to 11 mos. The 2 others were 3 and 6. I made breakfast and lunch, and snacks. As well as following a daily schedule such as, learning activities, daily learning, helped kindergartener with school. The baby duties included feedings, diapering, naps/ cuddles. Help with tummy time, she was colic, so I walked the floors alot. I helped 3 yr old with preschool activities. We did daily fun art projects. Hello my name is Paige, I am 18 years old. This May I will be graduating High school. I currently go to school at Hudsonville, but live in Caledonia Michigan. I have been around and cared for many kids since the age of 12. I am attending Grand Rapids Community College in the fall to become a nurse. I am CPR and First Aid Certified. I have watched up to 6 kids at a time. I am experienced with children that have disabilities or are sick. I am a younger sibling of 3 sisters who have children from the ages 3 months to 10 years. I have cared for my 4 cousins since they were first adopted. I have also had multiple babysitting jobs throughout the years. I love kids! Families with pets are an added bonus.. As of right now I'm still in school so anytime after school works for me until May 26 which is when I graduate.

I am a hard working individual with a heart for kids! Currently, I work in and infant room in a daycare with my 3 month old daughter. In the past, I was a short term nanny for 2 children ages 10 and 12 for a year. I was also a short term nanny for a beautiful 9-month-old girl; I have worked with her since she was 4 months. Before that, I worked for 2 years at a public school as a special needs paraprofessional with 9 children. In the past, I have worked for 2 different family's providing childcare for multiple hours and even overnight childcare while parents are working or away from home. I have nannied for a family with 2 children for 2 years in the summers, as well as babysat for a family with 7 children for a little over a year and a half, weekly!
