Hi! My name is Kate, and I am a 22-year-old recent MSU graduate. I have been babysitting/nannying for about 9 years now. I have extensive experience working with children from 4 months to 14 years. I consistently babysat for a family of 3 for about 4 years, and I enjoyed watching the kids grow up and being such an important part of their lives. I love working with children and helping them learn and grow. I am very creative, energetic, patient, and open-minded. I love fostering kids' creativity through imaginative play. Last summer I was selected for an internship with the Girl Scouts as their Environmental Education Coordinator. With this experience, I was able to foster a love of nature in kids and help them safely explore the outdoors! I also gained my Wilderness First Aid certification which includes CPR and First Aid training. Along with being extremely well-versed in child care, I am also comfortable with pets. I have grown up with both cats and dogs and worked at a dog training facility for a summer during high school. I am a 21 year old CMU student looking to babysitting again! I have experience ranging from newborns to pre-teens, have worked at the Boys and Girls Club as a Youth Development Professional, and have had CPR training within the last year.
