Hi, my name is Kamea or Mea! I’m a fun, caring, and super reliable babysitter who genuinely loves working with kids and helping them learn, grow, and have a great time in a safe environment. I am in college for nursing and plan to grow my knowledge and pursue becoming a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner. 😁 I have experience working as a CNA/Patient care technician in multiple different healthcare settings, which has allowed me to develop empathy when caring for others, children or adults. My most recent experience was caring for a sweet little 3-month-old baby all the way until she was 9 months old, where I handled feedings, naps, diaper changes, and all the snuggles in between. I’ve also spent long stretches babysitting twin boys, which definitely kept me on my toes and helped me get really good at multitasking and keeping up with lots of energy! On top of that, I’ve cared for a 3-year-old girl during full-day hours (7am–4pm), where I planned meals, activities, and lots of fun playtime to keep her happy and engaged. I love to have fun and be really silly! I have 3 adult children. Well 4 when you count my daughter-in-law. Who I consider as my second daughter! I am a grandma of identical twin girls! My little beauties! They are all the lights of my life! We are all very close and I’m very proud of all of them! I am a widow so my time is my own. I love children of all ages. I enjoy pets as well. I have a little pug named Frankie and a kitty named Bowdie. I’ve worked at daycares for years and thought I might try doing in home daycare. So took care of a family of five for over a year till they didn’t need me. Now I’m with a family of five again but only babysit 18 hours a week. I’m available Monday thru Thursday 9-3 and weekends. I’m up for anything anytime! I love to do whatever the children enjoy. After all it’s all their time. I don’t spend time on my phone or watch tv. I may have the tv on once in a while for a special movie or children’s program. I do however like to have music playing at times that we can dance to and just go a little crazy!
