I am a graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Hospitality and Tourism Management. I have always considered myself a self starter, and enjoy using my degree in a variety of ways. While in college, I was a housekeeper at a hotel, a server at a restaurant and an event planner. With experience in all avenues of hospitality, and being a travel agent for the last four years, my love of hospitality and human interaction have proven to be at the forefront. I enjoy the outdoors, music and creativity. My Pinterest boards are always filled with craft ideas or inspiration for children’s activities. I am the kind of person who enjoys working one-on-one with children and am that person who finds myself surrounded by the children playing games at family reunions. I have cared for two girls for the past four years, both whom are now four and ten. Both grew so much and reached so many milestones while I was with them. I was involved in sleep training, teaching how to walk, prepping and introducing the baby to solid foods, and helping assist with potty training. I recently was an au pair in Spain for a one-year- old and three-year-old. They helped me learn Spanish and in turn became like family. My highschool years were spent as a lifeguard and children’s swim instructor and coach. I enjoy being active and nurturing growth and development. I have my CPR certification, my own vehicle with clean driving record and am comfortable doing light housekeeping duties around the house. Basically, my goal is to make your life easier.
