As the oldest sister of two young boys, I found myself being a mom, a friend, a teacher, and a counselor. Throughout the years of watching them grow, they have taught me so much about how to better communicate with kids, understanding their emotions/ how to work through them, creativity, and most importantly, patience. One of the biggest skills I have developed from my experience with kids is patience. I believe it is important to understand that this is their first time experiencing the world so it requires patience and understanding on our part for them to grow.
