Hi my name is Alicia (most call me Allie). I have been a nanny for about 17 years now. I have a 17-year-old step-son. I spent several years being a full-time nanny for my sister while she worked a full-time job. Her son is now 17 years old and her daughter is now 14 years old. Both of them were cared for from birth, up until 2014, when my sister moved (and the children also grew up). Currently I have been a nanny for a wonderful family for almost 2 years but come fall 2024 the children will be in school and the family will no longer need me. I do have a reference from the mother if needed also. I absolutely love children and would care for them as if they were my own. I am looking for a long-term family to love as my own, but can also babysit on occasions. I absolutely adore and love children and I'm a child at heart. I love playing outside with the children, doing arts and crafts, board games, I am able to help with school work as well as any light-housework. I do not mind pets. I would love the opportunity to meet you and the children and to see if this would be a good fit all around. If interested I can be reached by text or call at 734-444-1801. Thank you for your time.

Children’s natural curiosity, spontaneous humor, and boundless creativity bring a unique sense of joy and energy to each day! I see my role as nurturing their growth by guiding them through important milestones with creative play, learning, and exploration. Being a part of their journey and watching them grow and develop is incredibly rewarding to me as is prioritizing their safety while ensuring they have fun and feel supported in their discoveries.

I enjoy being a sitter because I grew up taking care of my little siblings and cousins so as an eldest child, it has been an essential yet fulfilling part of my life. Additionally, I think kids are such a joy to be around and great companions to have fun with! I am currently a University of Michigan senior studying to become a child and adolescent psychiatrist so I am very passionate about caring for children! I used to work at Michigan Medicine on the child psychiatry unit, was a caregiver for my ailing grandma, and was a Behavioral Technician at an ABA clinic; I have a wealth of experience working with those who have special needs and in caring for those who struggle to care for themselves. I am CPR/BLS certified and have skills in redirecting maladaptive behaviors, toileting/oral care, feeding, providing companionship, and helping with homework.

I love being a sitter, and I put my heart into it, because my career has been working with children and I find it very rewarding. I get excited along with them when they reach their milestones. I formally owned two daycare‘s, I have 25 years experience with 0 to 5-year-olds. I know first aid, CPR and the Heimlich maneuver, although I’ve had no accidents in my care. I tend to be overprotective. Along with that I have a bachelor degree in healthcare management. I do this because I enjoy it not because I have to. With all that being said, I look forward to meeting your family. Sincerely, Kelly

Being a nanny is more than just a job to me—it's a calling. I genuinely love working with children because every day brings something new, whether it’s a toddler’s first steps, a kindergartener’s big questions, or a quiet moment spent reading a favorite book together. I find joy in supporting children’s growth, creativity, and confidence, and I take pride in creating a safe, loving, and structured environment where they can thrive. Building strong, trusting relationships with families is just as important to me. I value open communication, consistency, and working as a team with parents to support each child’s unique needs and personality. Watching a child grow and knowing I’ve been a positive, steady part of their journey is incredibly rewarding. That’s why I love being a nanny—it’s meaningful, impactful, and filled with moments that matter.
